We are going to talk about recent updates from the gaming world.Â
The Settlers: New Allies
Ubisoft has announced the postponement of the release of the console version of The Settlers: New Allies. The game was due out on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch on March 23rd. The reasons for the transfer are not reported.
Perhaps the date change is related to the failed release of the PC version. It received 59/100 from critics and 2.5/5 from gamers. It was called one of the worst games of the year. It’s boring and with stupid AI, and the store was the only thing that worked well in the game. But according to DSOG, The Settlers: New Allies is doing well with optimization.
Puzzle Quest 3
Studio Infinity Plus 2 and publisher 505 Games have announced the imminent release of shareware role-playing puzzle game Puzzle Quest 3 on consoles. The title will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on April 18th. The creators have received a huge amount of feedback and continued support from Puzzle Quest 3 players on Steam and mobile platforms. They are excited to release the game on console platforms. Fan feedback has been invaluable to them, especially in their first year of operation.Â
The team has been hard at work on the roadmap, introducing new features, constantly updating, and creating a completely unique gaming experience while staying true to the classic battle puzzles that Puzzle Quest is famous for. They are very proud of where the game is today and are excited to celebrate its launch in April by giving all players on all platforms a special high-value gift when they log into the game.
The original Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was released in 2007 and quickly gained cult status thanks to its unusual fusion of arcade gameplay and role-playing elements. Despite bravura fan support speeches, the game has only about 400 reviews on Steam, and only 40% of them are positive.
Toads of the Bayou
La Grange Studio has announced Toads of the Bayou, a tactical action game with elements of card games, base building, and roguelike. The title will be released on Steam sometime in 2024. Lead a group of toads against the forces of the evil Baron Samedi in a challenging game that combines turn-based tactics and deck building. Synergize card effects, build settlements, and engage in strategic combat to thrive in the Cursed Bay.
The developers of Toads of the Bayou said that the game was inspired by classic Western animation and the “Gothic horror” of the southern states. At release, we are promised 3 toads with unique abilities, over 50 maps, 13 buildings, and 10 bosses.
Robo Frenzy
YummyYummyTummy Studio has announced Robo Frenzy, a cartoon bitmap where you have to beat up pretty cute robots with everything you can get your hands on. Including a giant rubber duck. Robo Frenzy combines thrilling combat with huge robots with weapons and machines that you create yourself. Collect materials to make swords, laser blasters, and boomerangs. Connect production lines together to create even more powerful weapons like the giant drill or the cactus lasso!  Judging by the trailer and the description of the game on Steam, it will be possible to shred robots in the company of a friend. A release date for Robo Frenzy has yet to be announced.
